To whom it may concern,

I am a student in Regensburg, Germany. I finished my studies of Electrical Engineering in 2007 as a graduated engineer (grade 2.2; equal to US-standard GPA 3.0). Afterwards I started studying Industrial Engineering and Management (grade 2.0; equal to US-standard GPA 3.0) and will graduate in 2009. Within the scope of my studies I want to apply for an internship in your company.

As a graduate of engineering technologies I already gained lots of different practical work experiences, particularly within the quality department.
One internship was at BMW Group in Regensburg in the department for quality management and quality control. Among other things, I implemented new diagnostic equipment for test vehicles in our team as well as inter-divisional. My last employment was at Infineon Technologies AG in the pre-assembly. I supervised assembling processes, ran analysis and tests and was allowed to be creative in developing presentations for the public.
Since September I’m writing my second diploma thesis in the quality department of Krones AG in Neutraubling. Therefore I will plan and execute a project for assembly test cycles on my own responsibility.
In my diploma thesis for Electrical Engineering course I dealt with global navigation satellite systems (grade 1.0; equal to US-standard GPA 4.0).
During my practical work experiences a rapid comprehension as well as logical, concentrated and structured functioning was certified to me.

I am interested in doing an internship at a global oriented facility in Vancouver starting next March. Automotive industry is of particular interest but not compulsory.
