The Position
We are looking for a Student Software Tester for quality assurance of our bioinformatics products, who is working either par-time or taking on an internship for at least six months. Main tasks include the creation, execution, and documentation of automated tests for a scientific application. Furthermore, you will develop, work through and document manual test cases. To correct programming errors, you will work closely with the software development team. This position is based at our company headquarters in Basel.
Anforderungen:
Your Profile
To fill this position, we are looking for a mathematics or natural sciences major with a solid knowledge of basic software programming. You also enjoy and are proficient in working with computers. Knowledge of the programming language Java is a definite advantage. We require a student who learns quickly and is open to new ideas.
