General Placement
Description: This placement offers the student to learn the processes, procedures (JAR-145, FAR-145, EASA, ISO9001) and responsibilities of an Engineering Department within the Aviation Industry.
It allows the student to have direct contact to the Engineering facilities on the shop floor and provides the opportunities to work on real Engineering problems.
Due to the nature of the Maintenance, Repair and Overhauls business the student will also deal with sensitive customer data.


Specific Tasks/Duties/
Responsibilities:
• Gathering and compiling data (Engineering Drawings) from Boeings Customer Webpage.
• Modelling Landing Gear Parts in Solid Works
• Designing the overall layout of Shadow Boards according to production (final assembly) requirements.
• Other specific tasks will be defined under reconsideration with the students requirements

The person should be someone who has a genuine interest in Engineering/CAD

Having a willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Pro-activeness approach to work
Ability to communicate well with the management
Able to work unsupervised
Ability to prioritize work load
Understanding of the importance of confidentiality in the work place
Relevant experience within the field of Engineering is preferred
