3 to 6 month paid internship within the Polymax Group in our Shanghai and Ningbo office is a great career start for native German speaking students with truly international ambitions and deep interest in Chinese business culture as well as booming Chinese economy.
Organization & Coordination
The intern works in the section of General Management Office,in the close cooperation with the General Director (who acts also as the Chairman of the German Board of Directors) and provides secretarial support on administration to the GD.The intern is mentored and supervised by the GD and in his absence by the HR&D Manager (Chinese). The intern coordinates with the senior management and department heads of the POLYMAX Group.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities
• To prepare and maintain office operating and filing system for the Chairman of the Board office
• To organize meetings for immediate supervisors, and maintain a sufficient meeting record of business & administration
• To prepare and maintain efficient daily correspondence with business partners globally
• To facilitate English studies of junior office staff, and to assist the HR&D Manager in the organization and implementation of other company-based educational projects
• Translation between German and English for the management
• Maintain the orderly standard within the office environment
Other Duties
• Actively participate in enhancing the company culture; strictly observing the company’s regulations

Requirements
• Native German speaker
• Accredited academic level ' A-Level or 15 years school education
• Proficient language skills in English (writter and oral)
• Typing skills
• Computer literacy with particular emphasis on Microsoft Windows and Office applications
• Professional business behavior for international surroundings, -Appropriate fundamentals for cross-cultural communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Decent organizational behavior
