Stellenbeschreibung

Beschreibung

he team is looking for students who are interested in developing a system to track quality metrics of a full chip design and parts thereof while being continuously worked on by a team of physical implementation engineers. The system is to comprise of a database, at least one web based interface to create reports and statistics (indicators), and an automated mechanism to feed in data from individual engineers development tasks.

Qualifikationen

You should currently target a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Additional qualifications include:
- Good understanding of the silicon development cycle
- Working knowledge of analog design and verification tools such as StarRCXT*, Hercules*, Cadence* or Mentor*
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of TCL, Perl and shell* scripting would be an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of the UNIX* OS
- Ability to develop such a system, ability in contributing with creative ideas
- Interest in programming, quality assurance and the Chip design cycle
- Experience in IC CAD, Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and
Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) or IC design and/or verification
- Experience in IC physical verification tools and/or analog IC design and verification
- All of Linux, Perl, SQL, Web technologies skills would be an added advantage
