Beschreibung

The team is looking for a 'Werkstudent' interested to join the German Design Center pre-silicon verification team.
You will be integrated in a the team working on one of Intel's next generation smartphone platforms.

Work includes RTL verification on SoC level in tight cooperation with architects, RTL designers, circuit designers and software teams across several groups within Intel.
This includes enhancing the test environment as well as coverage investigations, debug of failures, writing test plans and research on new methodologies to enhance the verification quality.
Furthermore you will be required to demonstrate team work and the ability to understand complex flows and algorithms.

This position is open in Braunschweig, Germany, one of Intel's research and development sites in Europe.
The desired minimum duration of the Werkstudent contract is 6 months.

Qualifikationen

You should currently target a Bachelor or Master of Science or Diploma degree majoring in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics.
As this job is a 'Werkstudent' position you should study in the Region of Braunschweig in order to be able to continue your studies in parallel of your 'Werkstudent' activities.

Minimum requirements:
Good testimonials
Interested in complex technical flows, programming, testing and debugging on simulated models.
Experience in at least 2 programming or scripting languages (e.g. C, Assembler, Perl, Tcl, ...)
Some experience/background in Digital Design and Hardware Description Languages
(HDL)
Familiar with working in a UNIX/Linux environment.
As you are Working in an international team: English language skills are required, German language skills are desired.

Preferred requirements:
Background in SoC designs and verification methodologies.
