About the role

We are on a steep growth curve and are looking for a Guest Experience Intern to be a part of a high-performing team at our Boutique property, Habyt - The Waterfront contributing to the optimization of revenue, occupancy, and average rate. You will be a Habyt brand ambassador delivering the level of service that produces guest satisfaction. Located by the Rummelsburger See in Berlin, Habyt - The Waterfront offers 144 Hotel Rooms and 92 Residential Studios.


Your Responsibilities

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Handle reservations and room inventory to optimize occupancy and revenue.
  • Work with internal teams to address guest requests and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Arrange pre-arrival services for VIPs, corporate clients, and groups.
  • Use analytical skills to track and optimize room inventory for new reservations.
  • Find ways to improve guest satisfaction and team performance.Keep accurate guest data in the PMS and other IT systems, following SOPs

Your Qualifications

  • 1 year of study or work experience in the hospitality or customer service industry, preferably in a hotel or serviced apartment
  • A high level of English and German is required. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven ability to exceed guest expectations and achieve high satisfaction scores
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to connect with guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing guest concerns
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Google Drive, and PMS/helpdesk systems
  • A willingness to work on rotating shifts - 5 days per week, including weekends and Public Holidays.
