Internship in Customer Service - Tourism

We are currently looking for Interns in “Customer Service” for our Melbourne office, for the following periods:

1. June - August 2019
2. August - December/January 2019
Your internship responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

General Member service:
• Conducting frequently introductory PowerPoint presentations about Australia in general, job market and travel destinations
• Assisting with activation of simcard, bank account or tax file number
• Booking of Airport Shuttles and organising of “Orientation Day”
• Organising members mails
• Providing advise face-to-face or via email with all inquiries such as public transport, tax, accommodation, medical insurance, visa options etc.

Job Assistance:
• Providing tailored coaching and job support services to members
• Selecting and posting jobs on our database
• Promoting our job support service
• Correcting resumes and cover letters

Travel Assistance:
• Consulting and advising customers on all kind of travel products in Australia, New Zealand and Asia
• Advising on destinations, seasons and general travel questions
• Providing quotations to customers by email and face to face
• Arranging travel itineraries and whole packages with discounts

Administration/ Social Media:
• Handling incoming calls and emails
• Checking and updating documents and information whenever required
• Responsible for office equipment stock and marketing stock
• Taking part in the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns

• You will be part of an international team of consultants who are all experts in their own fields and will gladly provide you with ongoing training, mentoring and support during your internship in fields like Job Support, Travel or Customer Service Management
• You will get access to discounted or free tours, travel products and events
• We provide a monthly payment and an extra gratification for a 5- or 6-months internship

We operate from Monday to Friday from 9:30am until 5:30pm. You will also have a lot of spare time to complete your internship assignment (at least 4 hours per week).

Ihr Profil

• Excellent communication skills
• Native German and good level of English
• Dynamic, outgoing, cheerful, self-confident, ambitious personality
• Travel Experience in Australia, New Zealand or Asia is an advantage
• Visa Requirements: Work and Holiday Visa (417)
