Your tasks
This internship offers you an extraordinary opportunity to gain experience in the workings of a sophisticated global logistics firm. You will join a cross-functional team and you will

  • Create and implement novel forecasting, anomaly detection, and machine learning algorithms that will capture the complexity of DHL’s parcel segment. Examples include how weather, holidays or marketing campaigns affect near-term parcel volumes. 
  • Work with data scientists and internal stakeholders to ensure scaling and implementation of these algorithms on our forecasting platform. 

Your profile

  • Undergraduate degree in mathematics, computer science or an equivalent course of study
  • Demonstrable familiarity with statistics/stochastics and machine learning/deep learning (knowledge of time-series modeling is an advantage)
  • First-hand proficiency in coding, such as Python; data-science experience
  • Familiarity with programming concepts combined with a passion for implementing them 
  • Resourceful, fast, enthusiastic
