    We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who has solid experience within deep HR processes, has great communication skills and has a real change management mindset in order to drive new projects across the entire EMEA region.

  • Key focus:

    This HR Business Partner is responsible for supporting Avnet HR functional operations and delivering a strategic business partnering service to defined business unit / functional area. The HRBP will be accountable for developing and driving business specific people strategies and ensuring that both the Business Unit and Avnet`s people strategy are effectively translated into day-to-day actions. This HRBP role has the focus on internal corporate communications and Change Management and will work closely with management, executives and specialist departments on questions of culture and collaboration and will be the contact person for all questions of internal corporate communication.

    What You Will Be Doing

  • Consults with management to define and execute HR initiatives in support of business strategy.
  • Provides support to business/functional leaders in the areas of workforce planning and assessment.
  • Serves as a business partner, change agent and internal communications manager.
  • Ability to partner with Center of Excellence (COE) consultants and Service Delivery Center (SDC) resources to provide advanced consulting and support in talent acquisition and management, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, compensation, and benefits.
  • Engage with COE HR functions to collaboratively implement HR programs and policies.
  • Participates in or leads HR projects.
  • Analyzes business challenges and HR programs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Participates in roll-outs of company-wide HR initiatives.
  • Manages escalations and dispute resolutions through company programs and policies.
  • Applies governmental regulations to the development of HR programs.
  • Responsible for developing and executing impactful and measurable employee communication campaigns and initiatives aligned with the company's strategic priorities.
  • Continuously develop and improve employee engagement channels, tools and activities to foster a sense of belonging and shared experiences in a hybrid work environment with modern collaboration and communication formats
  • Analysis, conception and implementation of key measures for the further development of the corporate culture
  • Consulting and support of projects in the field of (corporate) strategy and organization
  • Active support of change processes
  • Conception, design and implementation of demand-oriented trainings and team developments in the context of organizational development
  • Other duties as assigned
  • What Are We Looking For?

  • Significant experience of developing/shaping people and organizational strategies for diverse and international client groups
  • Strong operational HR experience; European HR experience a plus but not essential
  • Experience of working within a matrix environment is essential
  • Proven track record of providing a strategic HR business partner service to senior leadership teams
  • Ability to manage complex projects and communication campaigns with practical knowledge in change management, consulting and coaching
  • Seasoned in planning and executing complex change management program/initiatives
  • Excellent communication (English and German) and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Demonstrated excellent customer focus, with a pro-active, mature, positive, action-orientated, and ‘can-do’ attitude is essential.
  • Education/Certification

  • Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

  • Experience of working in a rapid, fast-moving environment, which is both complex and changing
  • Ability to understand the complexities and subtleties of the business area supported, including understanding of scale, complexity, sensitivity, ambiguity, risk or strategic impact

  • Analytical thinking
  • Pronounced willingness to develop independently at the cutting edge with regard to change and communication trends, new work and cultural topics of the future and to use them for the benefit of the company
