Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.
Huawei Munich Research Center (MRC) is looking for an internship student in the topic of Signal Processing Algorithm Research for beyond 5G Cellular Devices. Beyond 5G cellular devices are expected to operate at a wider range of radio spectrums with further increased number of antennas. The vulnerability due to the RF impairments must be addressed to ensure the robust operation in a dynamic environment. This could be addressed by developing advanced signal processing methods which conduct the over-the-air self-calibration by the device itself. As an internship student in Wireless Terminal Chipset Technology Lab at MRC you will study the advanced signal processing methods, such as model-based methods and/or artificial intelligence (AI) based methods, to enhance the operation robustness for the beyond 5G cellular devices.
Responsibilities:
- Study advanced signal processing methods for joint channel and RF impairments estimation.
- Literature analysis and the state-of-art results reproducing by using link-level simulations.
- Provide proposals for further performance enhancements.
Requirements:
- University students in the progress of pursuing a Master degree or a Diploma degree, in the subject of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Control Engineering or Mathematics.
- Highly interested in innovative solutions and technologies related to signal processing algorithm design.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented work style.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred additional qualifications:
