Founders Associate (Intern) - Lyceum
About: Lyceum is building Europe's most energy-efficient AI infrastructure – radically accessible, 100% EU-sovereign, and powered by renewable energy. We just raised one of Germany's largest pre-seed rounds from top-tier investors and are now scaling the core of our compute platform that helps AI teams run models faster, cheaper, and without cloud complexity. Our team combines experience from Google, Cambridge, and leading deep-tech ventures.
The Role: We're looking for a sharp, driven and curious Founders Associate Intern with a strong interest in finance, operations and strategic thinking. You’ll work directly with the founding team and play an active role in building the financial backbone of a fast-growing deep-tech startup. This is not a passive internship – you will have ownership from day one and be exposed to the inner workings of an early-stage venture.
Start: from June 2025 (flexible) Duration: 3–12 months
TasksAs part of our small and fast-moving team, you’ll:
- Support financial reporting and investor updates
- Help track key cost drivers and maintain financial models
- Contribute to fundraising processes (debt & equity)
- Assist in building tools and workflows
- Be a sparring partner on strategic and operational questions across the business
What We’re Looking For:
- You have a sharp analytical mindset and a structured, detail-oriented way of working
- You bring curiosity for how infrastructure, energy and finance intersect
- You are highly reliable, hands-on, and thrive in fast-paced environments
- You are currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
- Bonus: experience in consulting, VC, finance, or an early-stage startup
- A high-impact internship with steep learning curve and real ownership
- Direct collaboration with our founders
- A front-row seat to how deep-tech infrastructure gets built
- A chance to shape the foundations of a cloud platform
- Remote-friendly, but ideally based in Berlin or Munich
We don’t expect you to know everything - we care more about your mindset than your résumé. If you’re structured, curious, and ready to take ownership, we’d love to hear from you.
At Lyceum, we believe accessing computing power should be as simple as plugging into a socket. That’s why we’ve built the first platform that doesn’t just connect you to GPUs and CPUs - it brings them to you.
We simplify the deployment of AI models and data-heavy workloads by removing all infrastructure complexity. Developers can launch compute jobs directly from their IDE, while our system automatically assigns the ideal hardware and schedules workloads at times of low energy prices. No overprovisioning, no DevOps overhead - just 100% efficiency.
Lyceum is a European deep-tech company operating 100% sovereign, renewable-powered data centers - starting with our first site in Denmark and a roadmap to scale to 10MW capacity by 2026.
