Awtomated is a Berlin Based translation Business Management System which helps Translation companies to manage their business efficiently and get better profits for each project.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in UI/UX design within the dynamic language and localization industry. You’ll collaborate closely with our Product and Marketing teams to design user-friendly interfaces, enhance digital touchpoints, and ensure a seamless experience across our platforms.

This role is ideal for someone with a creative mindset, strong design sensibility, and a passion for improving how users engage with digital products.

Tasks

1. Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
2. Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
3. Design AI native graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets etc.
4. Build page navigation buttons and search fields
5. Develop UI & UX mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites/app function and look like. Both low and high fidelity.
6. Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
7. Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
8. Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
9. Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
10. Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.

Requirements

1. Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or product design
2. Portfolio of design projects.
3. Knowledge of Figma.
4. Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
5. Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
6. Good time-management skills.
7. BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field.
