Planet A is looking for a Visiting Analyst to join our Platform team — the connective tissue between us, our portfolio and the wider ecosystem. This role is perfect for someone who’s intellectually curious, loves making data usable, and thrives in fast-paced environments where structured chaos meets purpose. You’ll work on a variety of high-impact initiatives, from shaping our internal CRM infrastructure to researching the edge of VC and industrial innovation. You’ll sit at the intersection of data, product, research, and network — and you'll be treated like a full team member, not an intern. We take pride in being the best sparring partner in the market for deeptech founders as well as the wind to our investment team’s wing.

Tasks

• Contribute to ongoing projects related to our CRM and internal knowledge systems — from structuring messy data to refining processes that power our team’s day-to-day decision-making
• Work closely with one of our General Partners to turn our platform data into usable tools for founders. This includes building the connective tissue between CRM insights and founder-facing products
• Deep-dive into emerging trends and strategic questions relevant to Planet A and our portfolio. Topics could range from identifying the best Micro-VCs, super angels, Infrastructure asset managers to conducting interviews with founders to distill the Go-to-market best practices in industrial and climate software
• Support the Head of Network and investment team with administrative tasks and pre/post deliverables for network-driven or platform-led initiatives
• Brainstorm and co-create both public-facing content (e.g. blog posts, tools, frameworks) and internal documentation that helps us and our founders make better decisions

Requirements

• You’ve spent time in entrepreneurial environments — whether at a startup, a fund, or a builder-focused ecosystem. Bonus points if you’ve touched climate or industrial tech.
• You enjoy unpacking why some startups or funds break out while others stall. You read between the lines and like connecting dots others might miss.
• You’re confident working with data, but also comfortable operating without perfect structure. You ask smart questions, know when to push forward independently, and when to ask for help.
• Whether it’s writing crisp notes, pulling together a short deck, or leading a quick sync — you’re clear, fast, and thoughtful.
• You’re here to contribute meaningfully, not make coffee runs. We’ll rely on you and expect you to own your projects — just like everyone else on the team.
• Work authorisation in Germany in case location is Berlin, please note we cannot provide visa for this position.
