Intern Performance Marketing CRM & SEA (m/f/x)
Carhartt WIP is part of the WIP Trading AG. Our family-owned business group started as a licensee and European distributor of the US workwear manufacturer Carhartt in the early 1990s. Since then, it develops its own collections based on workwear originals.
Carhartt Work In Progress aims to continuously progress and evolve, without ever losing sight of its origins. Over the course of the past two decades, our business has developed organically, along with its customers, the culture that surrounds the brand, and its employees who have helped shape what Carhartt WIP is today.
For our office in Berlin we are looking for you as an Intern (m/f/x) to support our Performance Marketing team.
Your Responsibilities
Support in CRM campaign management, including:
- Planning and execution of email, push, and loyalty campaigns
- Analysis of CRM campaign performance (e.g. open rates, conversions)
- Optimization of customer journeys across multiple channels (onsite, app, newsletter)
- Audience segmentation and personalization
- Conducting A/B tests and deriving actionable insights
- Working with our data warehouse (DWH) to access and analyze customer data
- Gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading tools such as Emarsys and Google Analytics
Contribute to SEA (Search Engine Advertising) efforts, such as:
- Keyword research and creation of ad copy suggestions
- Monitoring and reporting on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads performance
- Supporting budget tracking and pacing
- Conducting competitor research and benchmarks
- Assisting with campaign briefs and post-campaign analyses
- Gaining practical experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and performance dashboards
- Liaising with media agencies or internal paid media teams
General support in performance marketing, including:
- Day-to-day operations and coordination
- Cross-functional collaboration with teams like E-Commerce, Design, and Content
- Support in compiling reports, presentations, and project documentation
- Familiarizing yourself with common marketing analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Google Sheets, dashboards)
Your Profile
- You are currently studying or have recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, media, or a related field
- You have a strong interest in CRM, digital marketing, and data-driven strategies
- Ideally, you’ve gained first hands-on experience through previous internships, student jobs, or personal projects
- You bring an analytical mindset, a structured way of working, and a proactive attitude
- You are confident using MS Office (especially Excel); experience with CRM tools (e.g., Emarsys) is a plus
- Basic understanding of A/B testing and customer data analysis
- Fluent in English (German is a plus)
- You understand the Carhartt WIP brand and have a strong sense of our values, tone, and aesthetic
The internship is full time and will last 3-6 months.
