WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Exciting controlling tasks await you in the Group Reporting & Performance Management department from december 2025 for a period of 3 to 6 months. You’ll have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge and gain valuable insights into BASF’s finance and controlling processes.

You will support budget planning, forecasting and risk management activities.

Moreover, you will assist in the systematic analysis of financial and operational data and preparation of both regular and ad hoc reports.

You will contribute your knowledge to the identification of business developments as well as trends and thus contribute to economic decision-making.

Furthermore, you will work with various IT tools and systems relevant to controlling and reporting.

Varied project assignments and international teamwork complement the diversity of responsibilities.

WHAT YOU OFFER

currently pursuing a degree in business administration or economics with a focus on controlling or finance

ideally first work experience during internships or study-related activities or experience abroad

above-average performance

strong affinity for numbers and IT systems, especially SAP, Microsoft Excel and Power Point

independent work approach, and commitment

proficiency in English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage
