Work side-by-side with the three founders of Europe’s first AI-native energy supplier.
Utilities are the last trillion-euro industry still running on legacy IT. SMEs pay the price: they overpay for electricity while markets remain volatile and regulation keeps rising. Traditional suppliers are not built to serve them.
At Zeus Energy, we’re building Europe’s first AI-native neo-utility — a digital-first platform that democratizes enterprise-grade energy procurement for mid-sized businesses. Backed by Merantix, Europe’s leading AI venture studio, we combine deep AI expertise with energy market know-how.
Joining Zeus at this early stage means working directly with all three founders to shape the operational backbone of the company and accelerate our growth.Your roleWe are looking for a Founder’s Associate Intern who wants to gain hands-on experience in building a company from scratch. In this role, you’ll work closely with the three founders on a wide variety of strategic and operational initiatives.
You will:
Support the founders in day-to-day operations, strategic projects, and fundraising preparation
Help design and improve internal processes, tools, and reporting structures
Conduct research and analysis to support market expansion and go-to-market strategies
Explore and implement workflow automation tools to make the company more efficient
Coordinate cross-functional projects that drive company growth
Take ownership of small projects from idea to implementation
Collaborate with external partners, investors, and the Merantix ecosystem
Currently enrolled in a top-tier university program (Business, Engineering, Economics, or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with both numbers and strategic thinking
Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn
Entrepreneurial mindset — you take ownership, move fast, and find creative solutions
Previous experience in startups, consulting, VC, or similar fast-paced environments is a plus
Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin

Start date: ASAP
Location: Berlin (AI Campus) with hybrid flexibility
Duration: 3–6 months
