At our location in Walldorf, we are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) for our Sales Development Group.

Position Overview: You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by cold calling potential clients in various market sectors. This role requires a strong understanding of our technical products and services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different market environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold Calling: Proactively reach out to prospective clients through phone calls to introduce Koch Inc.'s products and services through a clear and polite communication.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential markets and customer segments
  • Lead Generation: Generate and qualify leads and set up appointments for senior sales representatives.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our technical products and services.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions with potential clients in the Sales Force system.
  • Sales Metrics: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly cold calling and lead generation targets.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a smooth transition from lead generation to sales conversion.
  • Feedback: Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to help improve product offerings and sales strategies.
  • Your Profile:

  • You are studying a technical field in your Bachelors or Masters program, have a good technical understanding and are interested in working in Sales
  • You must complete a mandatory internship as part of your studies (proof of mandatory internship required)
  • You have very good/confident knowledge of English due to the international nature of the company
  • You have the affinity for business administration
  • You have a sense of responsibility, independence and initiative
  • You have stamina and the ability to work in a team and motivation
