Huawei Heisenberg Research Center (Munich) is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive intern to join the Riemann Lab at Huawei’s Munich Research Center. The Riemann Lab is Huawei’s main department focused on map and geospatial technologies. This position will assist in the development of research and technologies related to geospatial cognition, through deep learning and large language models.

Intern/Working Student in R&D for sports applications development (Flutter) (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement applications for spatial intelligence in sports use cases.

• Conduct research and contribute to improving cutting-edge sports and navigation applications.

Your Expertise and Experience

• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or any other related field.

• Currently undertaking an MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or any other related field.

• Strong Flutter programming skills, with experience in inter-device communication using Bluetooth.

• Strong UI design skills.

• Familiar with version control tools like git, as well as UNIX-like operating systems.

• Knowledge of spatial data displaying and map matching is a plus.

• Fluent in written and spoken English is required.
