What we are looking for

We’re hiring a proactive Finance & Opertions Intern to support our Finance team in an international environment. You’ll work hands-on across financial operations, customer validation, transaction monitoring, and risk-related processes, while contributing to process improvement projects. This is a great role if you enjoy combining analytical work with operational execution and want real responsibility from day one.

What will keep you challenged?

• Accounting & financial operations: support incoming/outgoing invoices, accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, and month-end close preparation.

• Sweep account execution & monitoring: help prepare client payments, consolidate balances across payment providers, and support cash-flow monitoring.

• Transaction validation: analyze transactions and cash movements to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Customer validation & operational support: support customer-related operations and validation processes (e.g. invoice validations, data quality)

• Reporting & analysis: help prepare financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, shareholders, partners, and investors; build client/portfolio performance reporting and projections.

• Risk & due diligence support: support onboarding and ongoing reviews, monitoring routines, and internal controls in collaboration with the Credit/Risk team.

• Process improvement projects: contribute to building and optimizing Finance & Risk processes that help the team scale and save time.

What will make you succeed?

• Education: studying Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a comparable field (ideally 3rd semester or beyond). First practical exposure to finance/ops is a plus.

• Analytical mindset & attention to detail: you work in a structured way, independently, and you care about getting numbers and processes right.

• Ownership & drive: you like taking responsibility, moving tasks forward, and communicating clearly when something is blocked.

• Interest in startups/fintech: you’re excited by a dynamic, international environment and want to help improve how things work.

• Technical skills: strong Excel/Google Sheets; you learn systems quickly. SQL or any AI skill is a plus (not required).

• Language: fluent German and very good English to work effectively in our international setup.
