At Sunday, we fuel hybrid-casual games by developing and marketing fun, easy-to-play mobile games that consistently top the charts and generate hundreds of millions of downloads globally. Our talented team of developers, artists, designers, and marketers work together to build games that are easy to jump into but hard to put down, striking the perfect balance between enjoyment and monetization.
This role is an internship for the duration of 6 months! You must be available to work on-site from Hamburg, Germany. What you will do:

Feature Ownership: Take full responsibility for testing specific game features. You will analyze the design, create the test plan, execute the tests, and verify the final fixes.

Bug Life-cycle Management: Identify, document, and track bugs using project and sprint tools. You will be responsible for following up with different stakeholders including, Game Designers, Artists, Products etc. to ensure your “owned” topics are resolved.

Regression & Performance: Help ensure that new updates don’t break existing features and that the game runs smoothly across different hardware.

Documentation: Maintain and update our internal documentation for features you oversee and test.

Self-Starter: You don’t wait for a task to be assigned. If you see a problem, you investigate it and bring a solution to the table.

End-to-End Thinker: You care about the “Why” and “How,” not just the “What.” You want to understand how a bug affects the player and the production timeline.

Gamer at Heart: You have a deep passion for video games and an analytical eye for what makes a game “feel” polished.

Curious & Technical: You are comfortable learning new tools and potentially diving into the tech side of games to help diagnose issues.

Bonus Points

Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools.

Deep passion for AI and automation tooling.

Basic knowledge of scripting or game engines.

Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment.
