Job Purpose

Support the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks across multiple HR functions. The role provides hands-on experience in recruitment, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance while building foundational HR skills in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication

Support onboarding and offboarding processes (documentation, orientation coordination, system updates)

Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality

Assist in preparing HR reports, presentations, and documentation

Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and internal communications

Help ensure HR policies and procedures are followed and properly documented

Respond to basic employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed

Perform general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and calendar management

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field

Basic understanding of HR principles and employment practices

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); HRIS experience is a plus

High level of professionalism and confidentiality

Attention to detail

Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly

Strong interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and take initiative

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
