The Finance team at Pacoma Germany supports business performance through financial planning, forecasting, and analysis that enable informed decision‑making and operational alignment. As the organization continues to strengthen its financial capabilities, the FP&A function plays a growing role in improving financial transparency, standardizing planning processes, and supporting management with actionable insights.

 

This internship supports the ongoing development and expansion of FP&A capabilities at Pacoma Germany.

 

As an FP&A Intern, you will support the development of the FP&A function at Pacoma Germany by assisting with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. This role offers hands‑on experience in core FP&A processes while contributing to the build‑out of structured financial planning and reporting practices.

 

This position is ideal for a student interested in corporate finance and analytics who wants exposure to an international business environment and real‑world financial decision support.

 

So, what will you be doing as an FP&A Intern?
  • FP&A Function Support – Assist in building and improving FP&A processes, tools, and reporting specific to Pacoma Germany.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis – Support monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting activities.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting – Help gather inputs, maintain financial models, and support budget and forecast cycles.
  • Data Collection & Validation – Collect, reconcile, and validate financial and operational data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Modeling & Template Development – Assist with developing and improving financial models, templates, and dashboards.
  • Business Support – Provide analytical support for ad‑hoc requests from finance leadership and operational teams.
  • Process Documentation & Improvement – Help document FP&A workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency, standardization, and automation.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency or working knowledge of Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment; English required, German a plus.

 

Things we consider a plus:
  • Coursework or experience in financial planning, budgeting, or forecasting.
  • Exposure to financial modeling or reporting tools.
  • Interest in supporting a growing FP&A function within a German or European business context.
  • Previous internship or project experience in finance or analytics.
