Your area of work

You want to become part of one of the leading clearing houses worldwide and have the chance to join the journey. As part of the team, you will experience the functions and dynamics of the post-trade world and gain deep insights in the clearing of derivative products. You will be part of challenging projects targeting to improve the financial markets. You will grow with your tasks and turn challenges into milestones of your curriculum.

Your responsibilites:

You support the team and projects in developing business concepts and management presentations related to financial products and services 

You contribute by conducting market and competitor analysis

You evaluate internal processes and experience the coordination of content in cooperation with related teams

You create monthly reports analyzing clearing data and further automate and document existing processes

In addition, you support the development of data reconciliation reports and dashboards including experimental use of machine learning and artificial intelligence to identify unusual data patterns

Furthermore, you will get in touch with interesting tasks on an ad-hoc basis related to an international clearing house

Your profile:

You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least two semesters in mathematics, economics, business, data science studies or similar. Furthermore, we offer the possibility of an orientation internship, whereby you are currently in a gap-year after your bachelor's or master's degree in the above-mentioned fields of study - in this case, a certificate of enrolment is not required

You are eager to obtain new skills in Financial Markets, especially in clearing context, data analysis and machine learning

Thanks to your cooperative manner, you quickly find your way into the team. Your responsible commitment as well as strong communication with very good analytical skills help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics

You have a focus on data analysis and are skilled with tools like Power BI
You have at least basic programming skills in SQL and Python/PySpark

You have very good knowledge in MS Office (especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint und MS Word)

You are proficient in written and spoken English. German is beneficial
