As the super-platform for non-professional soccer in Europe, we bring pro-level experiences (news, data, gamification) to the mega-community of +190 million footballers and soccer fans.

We are a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne, Germany - our team consists of 40+ smart and "hungry" members working on Prematch in our offices in Cologne and Berlin (Marketing & Business Team) or remotely across Europe (Tech & Product Team).

We are supported by partners like Krombacher, Flaschenpost, Scalable Capital and DAZN, but there are still 1-2 bangers in the pipeline that you can be excited about! Furthermore, we are supported by successful investors like Ralf Reichert, the CEO of ESL or the entrepreneur Verena Pausder.

• Supporting our experienced developers with both small and larger tasks related to data – including software development, data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation

• You will be an integral part of our Data team, taking care of different short- and mid-term initiatives, guided by our experienced developers
• You will work primarily on data related software development, data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation. This includes basic football data, as well as enhancing the data that we already have for a better user experience.

What do you need

• Solid experience in Python for software development
• Confident working with SQL and databases
• A proactive mindset – you take ownership and drive your tasks from start to finish
• You’re not afraid to ask questions and seek feedback when you hit a roadblock

Advantage but not a must

• Knowledge of the python data ecosystem (pandas, streamlit,..)
