Brand Marketing & Comms Intern (Mandatory)
Slowness is a collective of people, places and projects that reframe the way we live, work and interact. Drawing insights from regenerative agriculture, adaptive reuse and the slow movement, Slowness is currently developing places around the world that offer a deeper, conscious and collaborative form of hospitality.
As part of our vision to own, develop, and operate destinations within creative hubs, we are actively working on several projects—our most ambitious being the Flussbad Campus—a home for adventurous culture & ideas in Berlin. This evolving campus began its phased opening in 2023 with the opening of Reethaus, and will continue to grow over the coming year to include hotel accommodations, working lofts, a restaurant, an auditorium for dialogue and learning, and a comprehensive holistic health program woven throughout the site.
AufgabenFlussbad is our home for adventurous culture & ideas and the base for our central organization providing services for Slowness globally. As part of the Flussbad brand team, you will support in enhancing the Flussbad & other Slowness brands as well as our community engagement efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of content and editorial projects.
- Help oversee creative processes.
- Contribute to the launch and positioning of Flussbad and other Slowness projects.
- Support in engaging audiences through effective communication and documentation of campus programming, partnerships, community involvement, and membership initiatives.
- Help track, analyze, and report on brand and communication KPIs and budgets.
- Assist in maintaining a network of key local influencers, connectors, opinion leaders, and creatives.
- Internship must be a mandatory part of a bachelor or master program
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Keynote
- Some experience with Wordpress, Figma and Webflow would be helpful
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English & ideally in German
- Strong creative and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
You should have a genuine interest in trends within the hospitality world and be able to identify with the principles and ethos of the Slowness vision, ideally looking to convert into a long-term employment. You should be energetic and detail-oriented, with a passion for culture, design, hospitality and travel. We value personal initiative, engagement, solution-oriented, and creative thinking.
