Huawei's Munich Research Center is responsible for advanced technology research, architectural development, design and strategic engineering of our products.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive intern to join the Riemann Lab at Huawei’s Munich Research Center. The Riemann Lab is Huawei’s main department focused on map and geospatial technologies. This position will assist in the development of research and technologies related to geospatial cognition, through deep learning and large language models.

Your mission

• Developing multi-sensor data acquisition and processing systems
• Collaborating on research to improve latest machine learning architectures for 3D scene understanding and spatial cognition

Your areas of expertise

• BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or any other related field
• Currently undertaking an MSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or any other related field
• Strong Swift/Objective-C programming skills, with experience in data manipulation, and hands-on experience with iOS/visionOS development
• Strong knowledge of mobile application development, software engineering and system architecture
• Familiar with version control tools like git, as well as UNIX-like operating systems
• Good knowledge of the concepts, structures and formats of sensor data on mobile devices
• Knowledge of deep learning applied to the geospatial domain is a plus
• Fluent in written and spoken English is required
