These services provide access to multiple networks of Charge Point Operators (CPO) and enable drivers of electric vehicles to find, use and pay for public charging in an easy and seamless way.

Since the beginning of 2019, Digital Charging Solutions GmbH has been part of the mobility joint venture between the BMW Group and Daimler AG. CHARGE NOW is a service of DCS and part of this joint venture, which aims to strengthen sustainable mobility together with FREE NOW.

Meet the Team:

We are seeking a highly motivated and curious AI Transformation Intern to join our digital innovation team. This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, and Business Strategy. You will work on real-world projects that contribute to building and scaling AI-driven solutions across the organization. 

Make an Impact by:

  Supporting the design, implementation, and scaling of AI/ML initiatives across business functions. 

  
  

• 
  

  Assisting in evaluating AI tools, platforms, and vendors for fit, usability, and alignment with organizational needs. 

  
  

• 
  

  Helping map and redesign business processes for automation and AI integration. 

  
  

• 
  

  Contributing to building data pipelines and validating data quality, structure, and accessibility. 

  
  

• 
  

  Participating in cross-functional workshops to define use cases, KPIs, and AI value opportunities. 

  
  

• 
  

  Conducting research on the latest AI trends, MLOps practices, and ethical AI frameworks. 

  
  

• 
  

  Support the administration of AI transformation initiatives, including the preparation of SteerCo documentation, reporting on results, and tracking the execution of action items across the organization. 

  
  

• 
  

  Supporting change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new AI technologies. 

  
  

  

Your Profile: 

• 
  

  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning/Data Science / Computer Science / Engineering 

  
  

• 
  

  Knowledge in AI & ML concepts (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, deep learning). 

  
  

Even better if you have:

• 
  Proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar languages; familiarity with TypeScript or JVM languages is a plus.
  


• 
  Experience or coursework in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  


• 
  Basic knowledge of data governance, GDPR, and ethical AI principles.
  


• 
  Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or similar project management approaches.
  


• 
  Experience in business process mapping and redesign for AI integration.
  


• 
  Interest or experience in change management and stakeholder communication.
