WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a proactive and organized Procurement & Supply Chain Intern (m/f/x) to join our dynamic team for 4-6 months. In this role, you will support our supply chain operations across procurement, logistics, and inventory management. From sourcing materials and chemicals to tracking deliveries and organizing warehouse processes, you will play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain management and contribute to building the backbone of a fast-paced climate tech startup.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Support procurement of work materials, chemicals, tools, and office/operational supplies.
• Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotations, and tracking purchase orders.
• Help manage and maintain up-to-date inventory records across different departments (lab, production, office).
• Monitor deliveries and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Participate in organizing and maintaining warehouse/storage areas
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand material needs and support ad hoc requests.
• Contribute to sustainability and efficiency improvements in the supply chain and procurement processes.
• Prepare reports and summaries to support strategic sourcing and supplier performance monitoring.

Your profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets); familiarity with ERP systems or databases is a plus.
• Strong interest in procurement, logistics, and inventory management in an industrial or lab setting.
• Proactive, hands-on, and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic startup environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• A passion for sustainability and interest in the clean-tech or recycling sector.
• German knowledge and a driving license are a plus.
