Your tasks

As our Event Manager Intern, you will play a key role in the planning and execution of diverse events designed to empower and connect our teaching and learning community. Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan and organize local events in Berlin and online, such as: Community gatherings, Career networking events, Educational workshops
• Co-plan and organize our end of semester Demo Day Event with partners in Berlin
• Event promotion and outreach
• Coordinate logistics (venue, catering, tech setup, registration, follow-ups, feedback collection)
• Engage with participants and ensure a smooth and welcoming experience
• Support the team with, when needed, with: student management and recruitment-related activities 

Your profile

• You are a motivated team player who takes initiative and thrives on making things happen. The ideal candidate will bring:
• Previous experience in event planning or coordination
• A hands-on attitude and ability to self-organise
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken (English required)
• Moderation skills
• A passion for people, learning, and community-driven work
• Familiarity with tools like Zoom, Canva, Eventbrite, or Asana / Trello is a plus
