Automate the Backbone of the Skilled Trades Revolution

At HW Gründerkapital, we're building the infrastructure to modernize one of the largest, most essential sectors in Germany: skilled trades.

We invest in and support ambitious craftsmen and women to build scalable, future-ready businesses. To scale our own internal operations, we’re looking for an Automation & Workflow Intern / Working Student to help us automate, optimize, and rethink the way we run.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable automations using N8N to streamline internal operations (e.g. CRM, finance, HR, lead gen, reporting)
• Collaborate directly with the founders – you get the goals, then own the implementation
• Connect tools like Qonto, Notion, Personio, Slack, Google Sheets, Webflow, Hubspot and external APIs via n8n
• Develop automation templates that are modular, maintainable, and well-documented
• Continuously identify repetitive tasks across the company and turn them into fully automated workflows

What you bring

• You speak German fluently (C1/C2 level)
• Hands-on experience with N8N or similar tools
• You’ve built your own automations and can show us actual workflows, demos, or repos
• You understand data flows, APIs, webhooks and have a systems-thinking mindset
• You’re structured, independent, and enjoy building scalable backend logic
