Shape the future of industry with startups and global leaders

At Combient Foundry, we partner with world-class industrial companies and top-tier startups to solve the most pressing challenges of our time, from cutting waste and energy use to building autonomous vehicles, robotics, and next-generation logistics.

Founded in 2018 with KONE and Stora Enso, our alliance has grown to include more global industrials such as Autoliv, Husqvarna Group, Scania, Outokumpu, SKF, and Epiroc. With teams in Helsinki, Stockholm, Munich and Palo Alto, we operate in the heart of the global industrial tech ecosystem.

We are now looking for ambitious, entrepreneurial-minded students to join us as Venture Client Interns in 2026.

Why join

As a Venture Client Intern, you will sit at the crossroads of world-class startups and global industry. You will:

  • Work directly with startup founders and executives from leading industrial companies
  • Learn how top startups win in the global market
  • Understand what challenges industry leaders are tackling today and tomorrow
  • See how corporations and startups collaborate to reduce time-to-market

This is a rare opportunity to expand your toolbox, grow your network, and gain an insider’s view into venturing, corporate strategy, and innovation.

What you will do

You will be a key part of our case teams, helping to identify and bring breakthrough solutions to industry. Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing startup market analyses on a global scale
  • Analyzing startup deal flow and acting as the first contact point for founders
  • Synthesizing market signals and trends and presenting clear recommendations to industrial companies
  • Contributing to internal business development initiatives

You will work closely with senior colleagues, gaining mentorship and guidance, while also taking ownership and driving your own workstreams.

Requirements

We welcome candidates from diverse academic backgrounds with a strong drive to learn and deliver. Our ideal candidates are:

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree with excellent academic performance. Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, business development or the startup ecosystem is a strong advantage
  • Exceptionally proactive and entrepreneurial, with a strong sense of ownership and the drive to deliver results in demanding environments
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving thinkers, able to structure complex challenges, synthesize insights, and develop clear recommendations
  • Strong communicators and team players, confident in engaging with executives, startup founders, and diverse stakeholders across cultures

Curious and ambitious, eager to learn fast, take responsibility, and contribute to shaping the future of industry

Benefits

  • A front-row seat in the global venturing ecosystem, working with top startups and global industrial leaders
  • The chance to learn from the leading venture client team worldwide, with mentorship from colleagues who have built the most advanced program of its kind
  • Offices in Helsinki (Bulevardi 44, next to Sinebrychoff Park), Stockholm (Mäster Samuelsgatan 56, city center), and Munich (Oskar-von-Miller-Ring 20)
