UI/UX Designer Intern (f/m/d)
At Taleroo, we’re building the operating system for modern education providers. -connecting learning, labor markets, and outcomes.
We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern who wants full ownership over Taleroo’s product design. Someone who doesn’t just make things look good, but who rethinks how they feel and function.
You’ll work closely with our Product Owner and Frontend Developer to refactor our dashboards, build a scalable Figma design system, and create a consistent visual language that actually works in production code.
Tasks- Redesign and align Taleroo’s three core dashboards for better usability and visual consistency
- Establish a unified design language: colors, typography, spacing, and reusable components
- Build a Figma-based design system that integrates seamlessly with our stack (Tailwind + shadcn/ui)
- Support frontend developers with ready-to-implement design files
- Define a refreshed visual identity for Taleroo (icons, interface tone, design rules)
- Improve efficiency and structure across existing user flows
- Present and explain your design decisions clearly to the product and engineering teams
- Master’s student in UX Design, Human–Computer Interaction, Product Design, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Figma (auto-layouts, components, variants, prototypes)
- Understanding of dashboard UX, data-heavy interfaces, and responsive design
- Interest in building a design system from scratch and seeing it used in production
- Communicative, self-driven, and collaborative mindset. You’ll work hands-on with developers
- Bonus: curiosity or experience with Tailwind, shadcn/ui, or Next.js
- A portfolio (e.g., dashboards, product UI, or system design work) is required to demonstrate hands-on skills.
- Hybrid setup: 3 days in our Potsdam office, 2 days remote
- 30 days of paid vacation per year
- Full ownership over Taleroo’s design layer. Your work defines how the product looks and feels
- Build and document a real design system from zero and see it implemented in production
- Work closely with product and engineering and design that ships, not just decks
- Be part of a purpose-driven product that helps real people access education and employment
If you want to design systems, not just screens and leave a clear visual fingerprint on a live product, this internship is for you.
Join Taleroo and help us shape how the future of learning looks and feels.
👉 Apply and send us your portfolio (e.g., dashboards, product UI, or system design work), we’d love to see how you think in Figma and build in systems.
