Mapletics is a young and dynamic startup with a clear mission: We make it easier to discover and experience sports together first in Cologne then in other cities. Our app shows all sports facilities, connects people with sports partners, venues, and exciting events – all on an interactive map. Are you passionate about graphic design and creative concepts and eager to contribute your ideas from day one?

You’ll create clean, effective, and beautiful graphics that turn our vision into visual reality helping launch Germany’s new Sports platform.

• Start: Immediately or by arrangement
• Type: Voluntary or mandatory internship
• Compensation: unpaid (if prolonged to 6 months it's paid)

Aufgaben

🎨 Graphic Design & Visuals

• Design graphic assets for social media (posts, quotes, thumbnails)
• Translate messaging into visuals that perform
• Create templates and visual formats in line with our brand
• Support landing page mockups, ads, and campaign decks
• Help evolve and refine our content system

🛠 Tools & Workflow

• Canva
• Open to working with other design tools

Qualifikation

• You are currently enrolled in a degree program or have already gained initial experience in one of the areas mentioned above
• You have first experience in graphic design for social or digital formats
• You have a strong eye for layout, typography, and brand consistency
• You work proactively, in a structured and organized way, with great attention to detail
• You are curious about performance-driven design, minimal aesthetics, and wellness-related topics
• You enjoy working in a startup environment, are eager to take ownership, and contribute creative ideas
• You are passionate about sports and Cologne (or ready to catch that enthusiasm 🚀)
• You work independently and are open to using AI tools in your workflow

Die App verbindet dich mit der lokalen Sport-Community und macht es mühelos, neue Sportpartner zu finden und aktiv zu werden – alles an einem Ort. Wir sind ein frisch gegründetes Start-up aus Köln, das noch in diesem Sommer seine erste App-Version launchen möchte. Wir starten zunächst in Köln und planen dann die Expansion in weitere Städte.
