Position Summary
As a Sales Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of M&A sales, supporting the sales team in driving revenue and building client relationships. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn the end to end processes from M&A market research and prospecting to client engagement and account management. You’ll develop your knowledge of Datasite’s solutions while contributing to the team’s success
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in identifying potential clients and understanding market trends
Support the team in setting up and attending client meetings
Help maintain accurate records of client interactions and contribute to account planning
Build rapport with internal and external stakeholders through professional communication and service
Participate in sales activities, events and client meetings
Attend onboarding and training sessions to understand Datasites product, policies and best practices
Develop market knowledge and sales strategies throught mentorship and training
Collaborate with high performing sales professionals to refine communication and analytical skills
Other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time
Qualifications
Education
Attending University / Business School in Germany or completed university degree or equivalent vocational training
Requirements
Able to work in the office
Proficient with MS Office
Full Fluency in English and German
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and ask questions
Ability to multitask and work independently
Team player
Knowledge of Linkedin and CRM systems like Salesforce are a plus
