Come Join an Inclusive Team

In this internship role, you will support the Capex Project and Portfolio Management initiative within Digital Technology. This initiative is currently in Proof of Concept and will enter the Pilot phase in April 2026. You will work closely with Digital Technology colleagues and business stakeholders across LyondellBasell.

As an intern, you will play an active role in understanding a new software solution for Capital Project Management and Project Financials, with a strong focus on reporting and data insights.

A Day in the Life

Learn and become familiar with the DevExpress reporting interface used within the Prometheus solution.

Collaborate with the Business Owner and Business Analyst to review and understand current reporting gaps.

Engage with stakeholders to understand which reports are currently available in Power BI and other reporting platforms.

Replicate selected existing reports within DevExpress based on business requirements.

Present the reports you have built to the project team and support remediation actions based on feedback.

Work closely with the Project Core Team, including Digital Technology and Business representatives (Site Project Teams, Global Projects, Capital Administration, Capital Planning).

Student Requirements

Student status (Bachelor or Master); no preference on study progress.

Preferred field of study: Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, as database skills are required.

Strong business acumen, enabling effective communication with colleagues across different LYB departments.

Creativity and analytical thinking in designing and building reports.
