Intern (m/f/d) Strategy & Business Operations – eBay Motors

Starting June/July 2025 | Minimum 6–12 months | Full time | Hybrid work model | Must be enrolled at a university

You will join the Strategy & Business Operations team for Parts & Accessories (eBay Motors) in Dreilinden. The team works on central initiatives to drive marketplace growth, improve category performance, and strengthen supply and inventory across the platform.

What you will accomplish

Support the Strategy & Operations team and leadership on strategic and operational initiatives

Analyze key business metrics and marketplace performance to support data-driven decision making

Independently handle smaller projects or workstreams, coordinate activities with collaborators

Conduct inventory and category analysis to identify growth opportunities and supply gaps

Support business reporting and preparation of presentations for internal collaborators

Collect, analyze, and structure data from internal and external sources

What you will bring

Strong academic performance, preferably in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; other subject areas are welcome if you bring exposure to strategy, consulting, analytics, business development, or project management

Strong analytical approach and ability to work with data to derive insights

Interest or affinity for analytics and data tools (Excel/Google Sheets required; SQL or similar tools a plus)

Entrepreneurial approach and strong interest in digital marketplaces and e-commerce

High level of motivation, ownership, and strong communication skills

Very good Google Workspace and/or MS Office skills

Knowledge of the e-commerce or automotive aftermarket landscape is a plus

Strong team spirit, service orientation, and proactive demeanor

Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required
