As a working student or intern in Java software development and IT consulting at beON consult GmbH in Düsseldorf, you will experience and learn how large-scale and data-driven IT landscapes are fully automated and secured.

Type of employment: temporary position Workload: either mandatory internship or working student for 20 hours per week Location: beON Office in Düsseldorf (Nordstrasse) Languages: German (C2 or native) and English (at least C1) Start: as soon as possible Salary: The salary range depends on the experience of the candidate

Your Role

You will get your own tasks within our IT project teams

You will work in our office in Düsseldorf and also directly at our client’s site

You will support us in Java software development by 1/ co-designing and implementing IT concepts; 2/ analysing and adapting existing IT solutions; 3/ programming software systems and 4/ carrying out software tests

You will independently develop small IT solutions and contribute your own ideas and suggestions

You will be assigned a competent mentor who will accompany and support you in your professional and personal development

You will experience how IT project work works in networked teams and together with the customer

Your profile

You are enrolled in a technical or scientific course of study

You are enthusiastic about project work in IT consulting and software development

You have a good understanding of complex IT processes and/or a strong IT affinity

You have Java programming experience

You are quick on the uptake and willing to learn quickly

It is important to us that you enjoy working in a team

You have a confident manner and good communication skills

You are fluent in English or German
