As a Hardware Validation Intern, you will play a pivotal role in the Sales Readiness phase of our next-generation Oscilloscopes. Your mission is to accelerate the market launch by establishing performance benchmarks. You will work at the cutting edge of measurement science, validating signal fidelity up to 60 GHz and enabling the ecosystem for the next generation of high-speed digital standards like PCIe Gen 6.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep-dive noise floor investigations across various input ranges and bandwidths. Perform comparative analysis against high-speed digital measurement platforms.

  • Execute ENOB measurement routines to quantify the ADC performance. Utilize high-precision Signal Generators to perform full-bandwidth sweeps and verify system linearity.

  • Perform VNA-based measurements of high-speed digital bus test fixtures up to 60 GHz. Analyze S-Parameters for Single-Ended and Differential paths.

  • Solve complex systems of equations via measurement permutations to isolate the individual loss contributions of adapters, couplers.

  • Design and implement a software tool to automate the measurement of S-parameters.

  • Port and optimize User Defined Analysis (UDA) algorithms across measurement platforms.

  • Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on RF/Microwave or Signal Integrity.

  • RF Fundamentals: Strong grasp of S-Parameters, impedance matching, and transmission line theory.

  • Measurement Experience: Hands-on experience with high-end lab equipment, specifically Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) and Real-Time Oscilloscopes.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to process complex data sets; familiarity with C#, MATLAB or Python for data analysis and solving linear algebra systems.

  • Precision mindset: Demonstrates strong attention to detail and an understanding of how small measurement variations can have a significant impact on overall system performance.
  • Availability: Ability to commit to a full‑time, 6‑month internship.
