As an Intern in Category Management, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines, you’ll be at the heart of the Westwing shop experience. You will support our team in scouting the next "it-pieces", managing a premium portfolio, and ensuring our offering stays ahead of the curve to meet ambitious sales targets. This position is limited to 6 months and based in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Support product selection from new and existing premium and contemporary brands
- Analyse category performance on a weekly and monthly basis
- Utilise AI-driven analytics tools to identify emerging trends and optimise assortment strategies
- Conduct competitor research in target segments
- Support assortment strategies within defined merchandise areas
- Collaborate closely with experienced Category Managers and learn how to build a best-in-class assortment in Home & Living categories
- Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a comparable course of study
- Passion for Home & Living, as well as a strong sense for products, trends, and aesthetics
- Ability to learn quickly, a structured way of working, and readiness to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
- High level of motivation and a proactive can-do attitude, paired with a strong curiosity to explore the world of e-commerce
- Solid MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and spoken language skills in English
