As an innovative „Edtech" aviation startup, we are looking for support in the further development and operation of our digital products and internal IT landscape at our location in Digichurch in Aachen. Founded by active commercial pilots, we continuously develop new digital learning products and training services for commercial pilots worldwide. To strengthen our team, we are looking for one or more IT-affine interns in Aachen who want to gain hands-on experience in a modern, AI-first work environment.We offer you

Possibility to attend training events in the flight simulator

Learn how to use new programs, platforms and frameworks directly from practice

Minimum requirement

Ongoing or completed studies / vocational training in IT, computer science, software engineering, business informatics or a comparable field
Basic programming knowledge (e.g. JavaScript, Python or similar)
Working independently and structured
High motivation to work and reliability
MS Office knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
Good internet connection
Good spelling in German and English

Desirable

Ideally you live in Aachen and the surrounding area
Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and/or no-code platforms (Wix, Webflow, Make, Zapier)
Good use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude (incl. prompt engineering)
Microsoft 365 admin knowledge (Teams, SharePoint, Loop, Planner, Power Automate)
First experience with databases, APIs or backend systems (e.g. Supabase, REST, JSON)
Affinity for aviation, X-Plane or MS Flight Simulator
Interest in cybersecurity, IT support or process automation

Your tasks

Supporting the maintenance and further development of our websites and learning platform (LMS)
Building and improving small internal tools, automations and AI workflows
Assisting with user, license and access management in Microsoft 365 / SharePoint
1st-level IT support for the AET team (hardware, software, accounts)
Testing, documenting and quality-assuring new digital products and integrations
Helping to integrate AI and automation into daily business processes
Creating technical documentation (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Confluence-style notes)
