Project Management Intern - Chinese Speaking (m/f/d)
The Industrial Automation & Robotic Applications Department of Agile Robots is looking for a Project Management Intern – Chinese Speaking (m/f/d), who will support the coordination, documentation, and cross-cultural communication for active automation and robotics projects at the China-Germany interface. The role is on-site and requires a minimum six-month commitment; candidates graduating in late 2026 or spring 2027 are preferred.
Your Responsibilities
- Project Tracking: Maintain visibility over active projects at the China-Germany interface, monitoring status changes, dependencies, and communication gaps.
- Technical Translation: Translate project-relevant documents across Chinese, German, and English, maintaining terminological consistency throughout.
- Meeting Management: Prepare agendas for project meetings, write protocols, and follow up on action items.
- Information Coordination: Synchronize updates across functions and sites, ensuring counterparts are current and outcomes are documented in Confluence and shared folders.
- Departmental Support: Assist with day-to-day operational tasks within IARA, including lab area management, weekly meeting organization, and critical-point tracking.
- Technical Involvement: Contribute to selected engineering tasks — such as simulation runs, CAD work, or BOM management — depending on project phase and need.
- Academic Background: Master's student in international management, intercultural communication, industrial engineering, or a closely related field.
- Project Management: Working understanding of project tracking, milestone management, and structured coordination processes.
- Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in German and English as active working languages, with working knowledge of Chinese sufficient for technical document translation.
- Presentation Production: Ability to structure information for slide-based communication, adapting content density, narrative logic, and layout to different meeting types and audiences.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Experience managing information flow or task tracking across multiple stakeholders or organizational units.
Beneficial Skills
- Technical Background: Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, or engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, or software).
- Specialized Tools: Experience with simulation software, Gantt charting tools, Visio, or comparable project and engineering tools.
- Adjacent Knowledge: Exposure to procurement, contract management, or project controlling.
- Practical learning opportunities to complement your studies.
- Dynamic high-tech company combined with financial soundness and world class investors.
- Join an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment.
- Corporate Benefits Program that covers health, mobility and learning with 100 € net per month.
- Modern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment.
