Join us as a Business Intelligence Intern and turn data into impact.

As a Business Intelligence Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working closely with our Finance and Data teams to support business decision-making through analytics, reporting, and process automation. This is a great opportunity to develop practical skills in BI tools and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.In this role you will:
  • Assist in data governance by collecting, cleaning, and consolidating data from various sources to ensure high-quality, reliable datasets.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis and contribute to the documentation of key business metrics and data usage patterns.
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards using Fabric/PowerBI and Databricks to monitor KPIs and key business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and the Go-to-Market team to strengthen the data foundation and enable timely, consistent insights across functions.
  • Explore AI-powered automation tools (e.g., n8n, Zapier) to identify opportunities for company-wide workflow optimization and innovation.
About you:
  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program with strong focus on analytics or a related field.
  • You work confidently with SQL for basic data exploration and analysis.
  • You are curious about how data flows through systems and enjoy figuring out how things connect.
  • You work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You enjoy working in an international and agile environment and have a keen sense for teamwork.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken English (at least level C1); German is a plus.
  • You are available for an internship of at least 4-6 months and are eager to grow in a hands-on, real-world environment.
  • You are based in Frankfurt am Main, Hamburg, Berlin or the surrounding area.
  • You hold a valid work permit for Germany.
What we consider a plus:
  • You have worked with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar data platforms.
  • You understand the basics of data modeling or have used tools like dbt.
  • You have interacted with business teams and are familiar with business data from CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) or financial tools (e.g., DATEV).
  • You are curious about or have experimented with automation tools like n8n or Zapier.
If you already have relevant experience and are available to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during breaks, a working student position is also possible.What's in it for you?

Hiring Process
  1. Introductory Chat – 45 minutes – An initial get-to-know-you conversation with our Head of Finance.
  2. Take-Home Assignment – 60 minutes – A task designed to take no more than an hour to help us understand your approach to problem-solving. 
  3. Presentation of Home Assignment and Chat with People Culture – 90 minutes – You will present your assignment, including Q&A, which will take approximately 60 minutes, followed by a conversation with People & Culture.
