We are offering an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated individual interested in mechatronics and Software engineering. The selected intern(s) will work closely with our experienced team of engineers and researchers, gaining hands-on experience in developing, testing, and optimizing mechatronic systems. This internship provides a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world projects while contributing to the advancement of innovative are looking for you as an intern in Digitalization and Mechatronics Engineering for DB InfraGO AG located in Frankfurt am Main as soon as possible. (w/m/d)

Your tasks:

Collaborative Project Work: Assist in designing, developing, and testing mechatronic systems in collaboration with our software & engineering team

Prototyping and Testing: Engage in hands-on prototyping and testing of mechatronic components, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards

Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of design processes, testing procedures, and results to contribute to the knowledge base of the team

Problem-Solving: Work on identifying and troubleshooting issues in systems, proposing and implementing effective solutions

Your profile:

Currently, enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in mechatronics, robotics, mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Digital engineering or a related field

Solid understanding of hardware and, control systems, Hardware software interface, and automation; experience with PCB, Microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, or Arduino is a must

Proficiency in any of the popular programming languages (C, C++, C#, Java, Python)

Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to learning

Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Self-organization and the ability to work independently are essential skills
