Internship: Mechanical Design for Solenoid Valve Development (m/f/d)
Join our Solenoid Valve Design team in Munich and contribute to the development of high-performance solenoid valves for satellites, spacecraft, and launch vehicles. You will be involved in the entire development cycle, from concept to testing. Your tasks include:
- Designing parts, assemblies, and creating technical drawings
- Performing simulations (FEM, CFD)
- Supporting hardware activities such as inspection, assembly, and testing of newly developed products
- Currently enrolled in a relevant engineering / science discipline (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
- Motivated, pragmatic and self-organized personality
- Eager to take responsibility
- Knowledge in valve design, pressure regulators, sealing systems appreciated
- Hands-on experience with CAD and FEM tools (Catia), CFD knowledge is a plus
- Strong knowledge in mechanics, mechanical engineering and fluid mechanics
- Hands-on mindset for hardware related activities (inspection, assembly, testing)
- Fluency in English, German and further languages are appreciated
- Internship can be mandatory or voluntary
