As a Corporate Finance Analyst you will be a part of our Corporate Finance team.

Responsibilities

• You will support senior management in regards to Capital Markets activities and communication.
• You will work interdisciplinary with the departments at headquarters and our network of companies and will support senior management with the business plan for Rocket Internet and performance monitoring of our network of companies, allowing you to gain an in depth understanding of how Rocket Internet and its companies operate.
• You will be in the lead for financial modelling and other data based quantitative analyses.
• You will be part of a team, which is heavily involved in capital raising activities and is supporting our companies with M&A process and valuation expertise.
• You will prepare investor presentations, coordinate investor meetings and due diligence and keep track of investor progress.
• You will be part of a team and will also have direct exposure to senior management of Rocket Internet SE and its network of companies.

Requirements

• You earned your university degree in business administration or a related field and have a thorough understanding of Corporate Finance.
• You gained 1-3 years of working experience at a global investment bank, private equity fund or corporate finance / transaction advisory services team at an international accounting firm.
• You are a ‘numbers cruncher’, enjoy solving complex data questions in Excel and possess a high attention to detail.
• You possess a hands‑on mentality, an analytical and structured way of working and logical thinking skills.
• You are able to obtain fast solutions while working independently. Moreover, you feel confident when working with MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• You have excellent English language skills and are a native German speaker.
